We're starting a blog. It's a straightforward place for three kinds of posts:
- Product updates — what shipped, and what's coming next across the web app and the Android app.
- Guides — how to get more out of features like portfolio import, price alerts, the market screener, and the news map.
- Market commentary — occasional notes on notable market moves, tying back to the live data already on the site.
Why now
TrendMoney has grown from a news map into a fairly wide dashboard: live news across 22 categories, US/Indian/crypto markets, portfolio tracking with broker import, price and earnings alerts, and a native Android app. A lot of that shipped quietly. This blog is where it stops being quiet — new features get a short writeup here instead of only a commit message.
What's next
A few things in progress right now:
- Deeper portfolio risk analytics (correlation, beta, VaR) rolling out to more account types.
- More broker formats supported in CSV/XLSX import.
- Expanded macro event coverage (FOMC, CPI, jobs reports) with push notifications.
