What the app does

Push alerts

Set a price level on any US or NSE-listed stock and the app notifies you when it is crossed. It also pushes 52-week highs and lows, earnings beats and misses on stocks you track, FOMC decisions with the new target range and vote split, scheduled economic releases with actual against forecast, big moves in crude, gold, the dollar index and VIX, and Indian pre-open and closing snapshots. Alerts are grouped into channels you can turn off individually, and quiet hours suppress everything except price alerts you armed yourself.

Portfolio and watchlist

Holdings across NSE, BSE, NASDAQ and NYSE with live P&L, XIRR, sector breakdown and full transaction history. Import a broker file — Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, Upstox, ICICI, Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard or Robinhood — and the app resolves the symbols for you. Everything syncs with the web app under the same account.

Markets terminal

Live quotes, candlestick charts and technical indicators for US and Indian equities, indices, commodities, forex and crypto, plus the earnings calendar with analyst estimates, stock screeners, an option chain with PCR and max pain for NSE, and on-chain data. Built as native Compose screens rather than a mobile-sized copy of the desktop layout.

News, map and reading list

The same 150+ RSS feed aggregation as the web app, sorted into 22 topics and 6 regions, geolocated on a world map, alongside the Iran and Afghanistan–Pakistan monitors. Save any article to a reading list that stays available offline in a clean reader.

Trend AI

Ask why a stock moved, or for a read on a chart, and get an answer with live context — current price action, the day’s headlines and the technical picture for that symbol.

Frequently asked questions

Is the TrendMoney Android app free?

Yes. The app is free to download from Google Play, contains no advertising and has no in-app purchases or paid tier. A free account is needed only for the features that store something for you — portfolio, watchlist, bookmarks and alerts.

Which Android versions are supported?

Android 8.0 (API level 26) and later. The package name is io.amardeep.trend.

Is it a native app or a website in a wrapper?

It is a native Android app written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. Screens, charts and navigation are native; notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging rather than as browser notifications.

Does the app sync with the web app?

Yes. Signing in with the same Google account gives you the same portfolio, watchlist, bookmarks, alerts and notification preferences on both.

Can I delete my account and data from the app?

Yes. Settings has a danger zone that permanently deletes your account and all associated data, and the same option is available on the web. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Is there an iOS version?

Not yet — an iOS version is in development. The web app works in mobile Safari in the meantime and can be added to the home screen.
